I started self harming about 15 years ago... it started bad last year. I've got a few scars where they are very deep and about 2 cm across .. after having the stitches out the wounds would reopen so made scaring even worse. My left lower arm is covered in big ugly scars.. most of them really hurt and when I do put clothes over the top of them the pain is terrible and also the scars can be really itchy too.... I feel so embarrassed over these scars as they're my own fault. I've been to see the doctors about them. I should have gone to have them looked at by doctors in hospital but I don't want to waste their time.
