OAB - can it be a one off?
A question from Andrea T who asked a question for our bladder twitter chat:
last year i had 3 months when i had a overactive/sensitive bladder which resulted in me losing days at work, emotionally distressed and physically tired. It has now subsided, but i live in constant fear of it returning. Is it likely to return, or can you have a one off attack of this?

Hi Andrea
Your bladder symptoms may have been triggered by something specific (such as infection, something in your diet, emotional stress). Were you aware of any potential triggers for your symptoms at the time? There is a risk that symptoms could return and if they do then you should see your doctor to try to find out the underlying cause as you shouldn't have to suffer with your symptoms for so long.
Hope this helps!
