Thanks for your post. I'm sorry to hear about the arthritis affecting your neck. The general guideline about arthritis is to keep moving (to keep your muscles strong and supple, as they can weaken where you have arthritis) and to eat a balanced diet to keep your weight under good control.
Seeing a physiotherapist is strongly recommended as they can offer strategies for keeping you moving and problem solving. You may want to try different pillows on your bed - and sometimes the guidance is not to have your head too plumped up. But you have to find what suits you.
