Do Delay Sprays Work? Are They Safe?

I've struggled a lot with premature ejaculation. I'm thinking about using a product called delay spray. I've looked into different ones out there like Promescent and Steady Freddy (yeah, weird name). They're supposed to desensitize your penis so you can last longer. Do these products generally work with helping men last longer during sex? Are these products safe to be using regularly?
