The question is though: how do you meditate?
Personally, I close my eyes and feel white light from the centre of my brain to my arms. The energy is very relaxing but not everyone is able to feel that energy. Still, relaxing one's muscles and closing your eyes to calm your body down, does help.
But being shown how to meditate and how meditation works is something necessary.
