Skin care advice
Can I have some tips on how to have a skin-care routine that is HS-friendly please? I know it's super important to have a daily skin routine, but I don't want to do anything might irritate my skin.
Thank you in advance

Re: Skin care advice
Hello and thank you for your question.
HS affects skin folds and the use of cosmetic products in these areas can lead to increased irritation. It should therefore be avoided if possible. Antiseptic soaps help maintain local hygiene and should be the foundation of all HS skin care. In my practice I recommend the use of Dermol 500 lotion or Hibiscrub. Both contain chlorhexidine which has antimicrobial properties.
