I'm nearly 6 months pregnant and noticed that whenever I cough, sneeze or even laugh I wee a little! I haven’t asked anyone about this because its quite embarrassing!! Is this normal when pregnant? My hormones are really bad so just wondering if its something to do with that?

This is not an uncommon situation and is due to the additional weight that the baby places on your pelvic floor compromising it's ability to support everything. It is actually a form of stress incontinence but will most likely resolve after you complete your pregnancy.

Some women will find that pregnancy does weaken their pelvic floor long-term and as a result they might develop such problems again in the future. If that situation does occur then there are many things that can be done to help.
