Undiagnosed skin condition
I am suffering from moderate to severe inflammation of skin on neck, armpits, chest and groin areas. Skin on neck is particularly affected and turns very thick and scaly. It eventually can be removed and is a bit like parchment. The inflammation causes burning sensation and scaly condition results in many sharp pains if touched by collar or even another part of neck when moving. Skin on face is extremely dry and flaky. On phone GP prescribed oral and topical antifungal treatments along with moderate and potent topical steroids. These did not help and oral antihistamines have not helped either. Referred to dermatologist, but have had letter from health board saying virtually no chance of an appointment because of pandemic.

Hi Largonian,
Sorry to hear you're suffering. Do you have photographs to help make the diagnosis?
