Intestistinal cystitis

I have been suffering with this problem for many years and as such have all the joy of cystitis but no infection. Previously my dr recommended Ibroprofen and lots of water. Following a heart attack I am no longer allowed to use ibuprofen any alternative suggestions to help deal with this problem

Re: Intestistinal cystitis

There are a range of treatments available for your condition. Perhaps you need an appointment with a urologist with an interest in this condition to allow you to decide which treatment you might like to try.

Re: Intestistinal cystitis

Many thanks for the reply any idea how I find out about the many treatments you refer to or how I find out what urologist is specialising in this. Any broad guidance would be much appreciated

Re: Intestistinal cystitis

I agree with Mr Harding, this is not a condition which can be managed in an online format as it is a complex problem which requires specialist evaluation and treatment.
