Incontinence

I had a anterior and posterior pelvic floor repair after a hysterectomy three years ago and for the past year and having a worsening issue with incontinence. I'm now having to use pads as I'm not making it to the toilet most times. The need is immediate it's like my bladder isn't registering its full

Re: Incontinence

Sometimes urge incontinence can develop after prolapse surgery and your history is suggestive. A continence advisor would be the logical first step for you and can be accessed via your GP.

Re: Incontinence

I think advice from a Continence specialist would be helpful, as Mr Harding suggests. Simple things such as reducing caffeine intake may help in the meantime, as well as pelvic floor exercises. Good luck.
