Can it be stopped?

Hello. I've got MS and am just wondering if there is anything that can be done to stop it from happening?
Thanks, Maggie

Re: Can it be stopped?

Hi Maggie

Whilst neurological changes can lead to slower bowel transit times, which can result in constipation and ABL, the most common causes of this are also related to lifestyle. Therefore, the best way forward for you is to ensure you prioritise a healthy lifestyle. Prevent constipation by remaining hydrated, having a balanced diet and keeping active with regular exercise.
