Bowel Problems
Hi
I have had PPMS for 45 years and only recently begun to have such a leaky bowel. (Bladder has been there from the start, of course! I use catheterisation but also have botox which is unbelievably helpful while it lasts.)
I use Qufora irrigation system almost daily which works well, but in between, have frequent small accidents. I take my time with the irrigation to help everything possible to be evacuated.
Is there anything else I can do to help prevent this?
With many thanks

Re: Bowel Problems
Hi Ann
The qufora mini system is useful to manage this type of issue, also use of anal plugs which can be worn for 12 hours continuously, another version can be worn for longer. They are not absorbent products but do offer a plug which allows the wearer more control. Also have you ever tried sphincter exercises, these can also be of benefit.
