I believe I have an enlarged prostate

I believe that I have an enlarged prostate, although GP and Urologist tests have not confirmed this. This is possibly because I am obese. I am 80 years old height 1.68 m high and weight 107 kg.
My reasoning is that I have a need for frequent and urgent urination. I have several times kept records over a 3 day period and the consensus is that I trip to the loo about 17/18 times during the day and about 9/10 times at night (about every 45 minutes). I tend to pass small quantities during the day (about 75ml) but larger amounts at night (about 150 ml). I don't have a steady stream but stop/start over about 2/3 minutes at night.
I have recently had an operation to remove a 7mm kidney stone (ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy) which was successful. Upon leaving hospital I was given extra medication - Tamsulosin 400 mcgs and solifenacin 10 mg, I don't know what the solifenacin was for but I found that the Tamsulosin gave me a steady stream with no waiting and my nocturnal trips have reduced to about 4. I have, therefore requested a permanent prescription for Tamsulosin from my GP and he has concurred.
Is there anything more that I can do to get a good nights sleep? And can you please advise on the Solifenacin.
Thank you
