Re: feeling really tired

Hello gerryt21 - welcome to the talkmenopause forum.

Sorry to hear you're feeling tired. Some women who are menopausal or post menopausal report problems with their thyroid so it might be worth popping into our online clinic on thyroid disorders next week and talking to our experts. They may be able to shed some light or offer some advice.

I hope this helps.

Re: feeling really tired

Since I've stopped sleeping properly at night due to my night sweats I just feel constantly lethargic. It really takes it out of you. I've recently read an article about how a lack of calcium during the menopause can give you disturbed sleep. Has anyone else heard about this or increased their calcium in order to try and improve their sleep? If so I'd love to hear about your experiences...
