Im not sure specifically about hypnotherapy but the higher mental function definitely plays a role in this condition and it may work. Bladder training is a practical solution as well as avoiding caffeine and other bladder irritants.
This condition is probably urge incontinence from overactive bladder and can be helped with the anticholinergic medications and the newer B3 agonists such as Betmiga.
