Leaking

I've recently noticed a slight (urge) incontinence problem. I've a feeling this is linked to doing less exercise, e.g. Sit-ups, due to illness. Are there some exercises you can recommend?

Re: Leaking

Urge incontinence is usually associated with urgency and not getting to the toilet in time
It can be helped by drinking less caffeine and fizzy drinks, and drinking more clear fluids
Concentrated urine can irritate the bladder hence why drinking more fluids can help.
The best exercises are bladder storage drill exercises where you try and gradually increase the time period between voids. This is our leaflet.

Re: Leaking

Hi Lara
Great advice from Mr Challacombe, I’d add that if these measures don’t work visit your GP for advice. You can effectively treat urinary leakage, so be sure to seek help if it continues.
All the best.
