Stress in continence

Hi I have suffered with stress incontinence for a few years now following a hysterectomy.
I had a tvt fitted just over a year ago and this improved my incontinence for a few months but have noticed a gradual incline incontinence .
I do the pelvic floor exercises everyday..even though I have been told my pelvic floor muscles are ok... not perfect but I’ve had 2 children via vaginal births... I don’t drink caffeinated drinks and always have to be near a toilet .
The only thing the tvt has helped with it urgency which I don’t have so bad now .
Although I also get twinge pains where the tvt was fitted inside .
I am waiting to see a gynaecologist with regards to the tvt but am really anxious about further surgery.
Is there anything else I could do or ask a specialist .
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your message and it sounds like you are doing the right things. I'm glad to hear that the tvt has helped with some of your incontinence. What is the main thing that causes you to leak now - is it physical exertion/bending/coughing/jumping, or is it a sudden urge followed by a leak because the urge is too strong to hold back? Depending on which one of these is bothering you most, it is likely that there are other things that could be done to help get things even better for you.
