Re: Yoga for a healthy mind and body

There are yoga groups all over the country: Britain and America included. Class fees are usually quite low, so even those on a tight budget could afford to attend a yoga class. But - you're right - yoga is not for everyone. If someone gives it a go and doesn't like it, then that is their prerogative...

Re: Effective Workouts -- Weightlifting and DDP Yoga, thoughts...

You are obviously motivated to lose weight: your exercise routine sounds right. Stick with it and you'll lose any extra weight. I do wish I were as motivated: I am not lazy and am active, but your exercise routine sounds like something I should do. I'd LOVE to have more defined muscles and much more...

Re: Please help me treat my acne/scars, I'M DESPERATE AND I HAVE SEEN THE GP ALREADY TWICE

A lot of natural skin products can be very beneficial to the skin. Of course, what natural skin ingredients works for one does not always work for the other. I'd say, use natural skin ingredients you're not allergic to and ingredients you like the smell of. I'd even purchase a facial natural home re...

Re: Acne cleared through food changes

Junk food is known for causing acne. Thankfully I've never had acne. But - then again - I don't touch junk food, like crisps or sweets. But your success story is wonderful: I am sure you've given people with acne hope. Because food does affect the skin: it affects the whole body. I am glad for you. ...

Re: How can I increase my weight

I think you want to increase your muscle density, rather than have ugly rolls of fat all over your body. You'll need to increase your exercise routine to build up your muscles and have a stronger look: maybe even do some weight lifting. Your local gym will be able to set up an exercise routine for y...

Re: What Do I Say To A Friend With Anxiety?

I find music heals those diffcult emotions. I use music daily to help my mental health. Dance also increases feel-good emotions. No one has to choose the perfect music or be an expert at dancing: just doing so in your own time and your own way is key. You certainly don't have to perform in front of ...

Re: Chronic Arthritis Knee pain

As mentioned in another post, physiotherapy is a great way to treat Chronic Arthritis Knee Pain. Painkillers will just mask the problem. Do see a physiotherapist.

Re: How do you manage your everyday pain? Any pain relief?

That's a wonderful success story, wanderer! I agree - from reading your experiences Wanderer and lance_young85 - that physiotherapy is the best treatment. Painkillers do tend to mask the pain, rather than deal with the issue. Seeing a physiotherapist is the best course of action. I hope others takes...
