Wrinkles

As I am moving into the menopauses my skin is turning into my elderly mothers – ie all wrinkly; is there anything I can do to either prevent this as seems to be happening before my eyes! Someone mentioned to look at my oestrogen levels?

alternative testing for abnormal cells

What is the progress of the test to determine abnormal cells from urine samples? They were working on this new method last year for women who have difficulties with smear tests.

could a pain in my side be kidney related?

Over the last few months I have had a constant low grade pain in my side… a hot water bottle seems to get rid of it for a while. My daughter has told me I should have my kidneys checked out – but I really don’t want to bother my GP at the moment as they are constantly telling us not to call unless a...

kidney stones

What is a kidney stone – and do you have to have them removed or do they pass through as my doctor has suggested I might have one and need an xray?

Re: UTI's

I get a lot of UTIs and sometimes really cant be bothered to go to the doctors and hope that the infection will pass – but it crossed my mind that I might be damaging my kidneys – could this be the case?
