Does it go away by itself?
Hi, I've been on to some online men's forums regarding Phimosis and some men have said that they were too embarrassed to see a GP (so instead tried stretching) and eventually it went away by itself. Is this true/what is the likelihood of this happening? Does it depend on the severity? thanks

changes to diet to lower risk
There's a history of prostate cancer in my family and I was wondering whether there are any changes I can make to my diet that can help lower my risk of getting it?

Nighttime heartburn
Hi I have GERD and get nighttime heartburn very regularly. I’ve tried avoiding large fatty meals in the evening and I take Gaviscon but its not that effective anymore. I’m really suffering from loss of sleep. What foods should I be eating to prevent the burn feeling and to help me drift off? Thanks

Numbness
Hi, I'm getting a bit concerned about an intermittent problem I'm experiencing with numbness in my left testicle. There are no lumps or pain but the testicle sometimes goes numb and stays like it for a day or two, then the feeling returns. Due to covid I haven't yet seen my Dr so thought i'd ask her...

so much energy
Hi - I’ve heard that oversleeping and lack of energy tend to be linked to depression. What mental health issues are linked to excessive energy? I have so much energy in the day and then at night it’s hard to relax and feel tired enough to drift off to sleep. At night time my brain refuses to shut do...

Re: uncontrolled emotions
Hi Lewis, You may have seen some of my other posts talking about depression so i know how you feel. I have had bouts of depression for the last few years. Last year it got really bad, i was signed off work, saw a counsellor that my GP referred me to and another one at work and was on medication. For...

Re: don't know how to cope
Hi Judy, Thanks for your reply. Its nice to know i am not alone. I am feeling quite positive at the moment but its difficult trying to say to someone how i feel when i am struggling to cope. The reactions are quite often along the lines of "pull yourself together" or "there are people...

Re: Dismissed because of depression
My employers were very good. There were some issues lower down the ranks that contributed to my last onset of depression but once my rep got others involved and they realised their mistake they were very good. I got counselling at work and they put me on light duties when i wanted to return to work ...
