I am a registered general nurse (adults) and also a registered nurse (children). I have spent almost 32 years working in both the nhs and a variety of private sector healthcare environments. My current role is Lead CNS Calderdale Bladder and Bowel Service where I manage a small team of specialists. We see people from the age of 4 years who have complex bladder and bowel dysfunction.

I am current chair of the Yorkshire Branch Association for Continence Advisors and also sit on the Royal College of Nursing Bladder and Bowel Forum Committee.

I have published several articles on Bladder and bowel issues and regularly speak at national and on occasion international conferences.

It is my mission to raise the profile of bladder and bowel issues and make it everyone’s business.
