Sharon Clovis trained at the Guy’s and Lewisham School of Nursing, qualifying in 1991. She worked on the Urology ward at Guy’s for five years, before going travelling for a year. When she returned, Sharon started working in OPD as a nurse practitioner for three years. In 1999 Sharon got a post as a Prostate Nurse Specialist at Guy’s and has since created guidelines, protocols, published journal articles, presented and written two book chapters. At Guy’s, Sharon was heavily involved in the development of their Urology Centre which opened in 2007. Sharon currently splits her time between the benign and malignant prostate diseases, and provided an outreach clinic in a GP surgery for 14 years.

Sharon has a post graduate diploma and is a nurse prescriber.
