Briege is a qualified registered general (adult), registered mental nurse and health visitor with over twenty two years in clinical practice in general, psychiatric and community nursing (health visiting). She has a particular interest in perinatal mental health, parenting and child and family health.

She has previously worked in the role of Professional Officer for the Community Practitioners’ and Health Visitors’ Association for nine years, representing the organisation at strategic level and providing the focus for professional advice and services to members.

Briege has worked as Health Visitor at Netmums for the past four years as part of the Parent Supporters Team, giving online support to Netmums members on a range of topics such as general parenting concerns, child and family health and maternal mental health and also provides support for Netmums on mental health and safeguarding issues.
